Baptisms
Babies, children, and adults, are joyfully invited to be baptized! When we welcome you into a new life in Christ through baptism you become a part of the worldwide and eternal Body of Christ, the community of Christians worldwide, and a member of our congregation.
Our clergy prepare teens and adults for their baptisms and there is also simple preparation for parents, godparents and sponsors. We follow the Episcopal Church's tradition of holding baptisms during our Sunday worship and on the dates for baptism specified in our Book of Common Prayer: the first Sunday after the Epiphany; the Easter Vigil; the Day of Pentecost; and All Saints' Sunday.
Once baptized, we invite all children to begin receiving Holy Communion when they are physically able to do so.
If you are interested in exploring baptism for yourself, or in scheduling a date for a loved one, connect with one of our priests or email Carrie Price in the church office. We look forward to a joyful celebration!
