ABC's of LGBTQIA+, 7pm Aug 11 on Zoom
Have you wondered what the "Q" or the "I" or the "A" of LGBTQIA+ really mean? Or perhaps been curious as to why pronouns have taken on such importance? Or maybe puzzled over whether gender non-conforming is the same as nonbinary? Or are you pondering how to be more inclusive and affirming of our transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary members, newcomers, and loved ones - or perhaps even of ourselves?
If so, join us for a workshop on the ABC's of LGBTQIA+, led by Angel Collie (he/him/his), from Duke University's Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity. Angel will answer these questions and more, helping us explore identities related to gender, gender identity, and gender expression.
