Bluegrass Concert & Lunch! Sun June 24, 12:30p
Come enjoy an hour of original music and bluegrass from songwriter Ben Greenberg, St A's baritone soloist. The concert also features our very own St. A's Chamber Singers along with David Tangney on cello and Julian McClanahan on fiddle!
FREE ADMISSION! Donations welcome and encouraged. A light lunch will be provided :)
Ben Greenberg has been the baritone soloist and section leader for St. Augustine By-the-Sea's choir and Chamber Singers since the fall of 2016. His is the gorgeous, sacred voice we often hear leading the psalms from the choir loft. Ben has found singing for our unique and progressive community to be an honor and a privilege, as well as instrumental in supporting his path as a musician in Los Angeles.
A long-time songwriter, Ben has been writing and honing new folk-and-bluegrass-infused original music, and this May made his LA debut with a six-piece ensemble blending sounds of traditional American acoustic music and electrified pop and folk. He is now in the process of recording an EP and preparing for a West Coast tour.
Ben wishes to express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone at St. A’s for making it possible for him to pursue his goals as a musician in LA, and he is thrilled to share his newest music with the community. We hope you’ll join us for the show!
