Christmas Book Drive for Neighborhood Youth Association (NYA)
Every year, the St. A’s community generously gives books to scholars at the Neighborhood Youth Association (NYA).
This year, the book drive is more important than ever. We have all seen events and traditions be postponed or delayed this year as months have gone by due to the pandemic. Let us lean into tradition once again this Christmas by providing books the elementary and high school scholars who are served by NYA have individually requested.
Books should be purchased online through Amazon, using the Amazon Wish List named Neighborhood Youth Association Book Drive. The books will delivered directly to Sonia Hernandez, NYA's Site Director, and she will wrap them and see that they are safely distributed to all the children and teens.
There are about 120 books that you may choose from. In some cases multiple copies are requested. Books should arrive no later than December 1 to give Sonia enough time to wrap and distribute them before Christmas, so please order the books well before then.
All books need to go directly to Sonia: the church cannot accept delivery of any books since the office and campus are closed. And to preserve the privacy of her home address, NYA will not be able to take books purchased from other sources this year. We appreciate your understanding.

Thank you all for your generosity in supporting NYA scholars with Christmas books year in and year out! And we are especially grateful to those who can give again this year during this challenging time. Your gifts are bringing joy and learning to NYA youngsters!
