Easter Services 2019
The Great Vigil of Easter - 8pm Saturday, April 20
One of Christianity's most ancient services, Easter Vigil begins outside with the Service of Light: kindling a bonfire and lighting the Paschal candle. By candlelight in church we recount Hebrew Scripture's history of God's saving works and then renew our baptismal vows. The Vigil culminates with a dramatic acclamation of Christ's glorious resurrection, ringing of handbells, joyful hymnody and a celebratory Eucharist. Bring handbells!
Easter Sunday - Festival Eucharist with Choir & Brass
8am and 10:30am April 21
Celebrate Easter in a church resounding with Easter music and joy in Christ's rising to new life! Friends and family and newcomers of all ages to are welcome to join us for an exuberant morning of praise for Christ's resurrection and the new life we have in Him. The nursery is available from 8am through the end of the 10:30 service.
Easter Egg Hunt - 9:45am Easter Sunday, April 21
Youngsters are invited to our annual neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt in between Easter services on the courtyard lawn next to the church. And, keep your eye out for a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! All are welcome, regardless of if you have ever been to our church before or not. Gather outside the courtyard gates by 9:45am.
