Healthy Minds - Healthy Caregiving, Sat. Sept 21, 10am - 12:30pm
Join us for a morning of discussions on vital aspects of aging – memory and caregiving - facilitated by Rachel Sangestanian and Barbara Browning of Wise & Healthy Aging. The morning will be broken into two sessions:
Maintain Your Brain
First we will learn about the latest research on brain changes later in life: what’s “normal” and what may not be, and how to keep your brain running.
Revive & Thrive
Next Rachel and Barbara will discuss strategies for beating caregiving burnout: simple practicalities on managing stress, recognizing when you're overwhelmed, and taking care of your own health, so you can keep caring for your loved one without burning out.
