Judith Lyons' Ordination to the Priesthood, Jan 11, 10am
God willing, and the people consenting, The Rt. Rev. John H. Taylor, Bishop of Los Angeles will ordain Judith Lyons to the Sacred Order of Priests at 10am Saturday, January 11, 2020! Join our clergy and fellow parishioners in prayerful support and witness of this sacred transition in her ministry. A reception will follow immediately after the service.
The ordination service will be held at St. John's Cathedral, 514 West Adams Boulevard, Los Angeles. Seating is limited so arrival before 9:30am is strongly suggested.
Judith's call to the priesthood grew out of her long-time membership at St. A's, where she faithfully served in many ministries and leadership positions, including as Senior Warden. She recently received her Masters in Divinity from Church Divinity School of the Pacific and is currently Associate for Spiritual Care and the Arts at St. Francis Church in Palos Verdes.
