The Cross and Resurrection - Tuesday eves in Lent
Join us for a 5 part series on the meaning of the cross and the significance of Christ's resurrection. We will discuss what these events meant for Jesus' followers in the early years and what they can say to us today. Learn about the centrality of the cross and the momentousness of the resurrection and why they matter in the here and now.
Our discussions will follow Rowan Williams' book The Sign and the Sacrifice, available in the book store or on Amazon.
We will meet Tuesdays March 12, 19, 26 and April 2, 9 in Pierson Hall (under the church). Join us beforehand for optional evening prayer in the chapel and a potluck dinner.
