The Great Vigil of Easter - Sat. March 31, 8pm
One of Christianity's most ancient services, Easter Vigil begins outside with the Service of Light: kindling a bonfire and lighting the Paschal candle. By candlelight in church we recount Hebrew Scripture's history of God's saving works and then renew our baptismal vows.
The Vigil culminates with a dramatic acclamation of Christ's glorious resurrection followed by the Eucharist. Alleluia! Christ is risen!
