"Into the Mess: Finding Christ In Hard Places"
Join the women+ of St. A's to seek Christ in the harder places in our lives—places that call us to lament; places that challenge our identities; places that require us to wait with hope and patience as we face uncertainty. Retreatants will have time to explore Scripture, engage in solitary reflection, learn in community, and get creative together.
Hosted at the beautiful Serra Retreat Center in Malibu, this sacred weekend will be led by Debie Thomas, the Minister for Lifelong Formation at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, California. She is the author of the upcoming A Faith of Many Rooms: Inhabiting a More Spacious Christianity (March, 2024) and Into the Mess and Other Jesus Stories: Reflections on the Life of Christ.
